Our daughter started in the toddler room just after turning two, and is now three and thriving in the Casa room. The small school environment means all of the kids know each other, and every teacher knows our daughter - her personality, her capabilities, and her needs. 
 
One of our favorite part of the Montessori environment has been the mixed-age classroom. At Ixora, the children from both the toddler and casa rooms will engage in many activities together. As a toddler, our daughter learned so much just by watching her older classmates and playing alongside them. Now as a "big kid", she's also learning to be a role model and gentle friend to those younger than her.
 
We couldn't be happier with how our daughter is growing into a curious, independent learner, and love the Ixora community! ​
